We firmly believe that school and family working closely together will give your child the very best educational opportunities. Therefore we hope that parents who choose to send their child to Lyncrest will become involved in the school community and will support and enjoy the family ethos.
Our Information page is a one-stop location for everything about our school, including Policies, Reports and Key Weblinks.
We update our school diary on a regular basis so that you can recognise the dates and events that are important to you.
We offer 26 morning places and 26 afternoon places. Sessions are for 3 hours every day in term time either in the morning or afternoon.
Lyncrest Primary School, based in Northampton and close to the Northampton Saints Rugby ground, is a school that accommodates boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11 years of age. We are a happy and friendly school who firmly believe that in working closely together with you- the family- we can give your child the very best educational opportunities. We are a single form entry school, meaning that we have one class per year group. Being small in size allows us to really get to know the children and you- the family- so we can work together in partnership more effectively. Each class, including nursery, has a fully qualified Teacher and class teachers are supported by teaching assistants.
At Lyncrest our primary aim is for all children to be safe, happy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their full potential.
In order to achieve our school vision, our curriculum and culture will focus on:
Developing oracy so that all children can articulate and understand •
Presenting possibilities and promoting individual growth so that all children have a wide knowledge of the world and an ambition to explore it •
Strengthening the sense of community, enabling them to make a positive contribution to society •
Everything we do at Lyncrest Primary School is underpinned by our three values and rules: show respect, show compassion and persevere. Through our vision and values, alongside a happy and engaging learning environment, children can flourish, attaining their full potential: academically, physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. We believe that every child can shine at Lyncrest Primary School!
